I attended Kalamazoo College and double-majored in Sociology/Anthropology and Religion before attending massage school. I graduated from the Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts in 2006 with a massage certification and have been practicing ever since. I moved to Hawaii after school and performed massage at Spa Hina on the Big Island for two years before returning to the mainland, and also lived in Florida for several years while my children were young. During massage school, I received training in Polarity Therapy, Acupressure, Prenatal Massage, and Reflexology. I learned traditional Hawaiian Hot Stone Massage on the Big Island in 2006, and after returning to Michigan I became certified in Deep Barefoot Ashiatsu Massage (2016) and in Reiki. I am excited to incorporate every appropriate skill to help you feel your best!

I have always been fascinated by the responsiveness of the body's tissues and its ability to self-heal. Each massage or consulting session is tailored individually and works within your comfort level and toward your particular goals. I personally receive massage at least twice a month and have found its influence to be profoundly calming in my life.
